This field of women’s health and disease has been attracting the attention of the scientific community over the past 50 years. At the dawn of the 21st century a substantial amount of accumulated knowledge has found its way to clinical application giving rise, however, to new pertinent questions. Twenty-one National Jewish Health Physicians Named Denver’s “Top Docs”

Twenty-one National Jewish Health physicians have been named “Top Docs” in the 2010 ranking of Denver-area physicians by 5280 magazine. Top Docs were named most often in a survey of more than 7,500 Denver metro-area doctors, who were asked, specialty by specialty, which physicians they would trust to treat them or their families.

Laugh Your Way to Good Health

Laughter is the best medicine, they say. The naysayers put it to test, unknowingly though, and experienced first-hand that laughing indeed shoos troubles away, or so they say. Both might actually be true, especially when we consider the fact that in 2005, there was a report* that confirmed the correlation between laughter and healthy functioning of blood vessels in the human body.

When not in a good mood, we feel low and that often causes us to feel feverish. With a funny remark from a close one, cheerfulness sets in and for all we know, were looking forward to the brighter part of the day. Whether we can explicitly appreciate this fact or not, laughter has a positive effect on how we feel, each time we feel. Next time you laugh a good laugh, just ask yourself how it feels.

You dont really need to know the body-friendly reasons to laugh multiple times a day.
